Bre Loughlin Biography
Bringing over 20 years of expertise in healthcare to her role, Bre Loughlin is Founder and CEO of Nurse Disrupted, a company she designed with nurse workflows at the center of its software. Nurse Disrupted is the first telehealth solution designed specifically for nurses, tackling health care’s biggest challenges: the nursing shortage and health disparities.
Nurse Disrupted's initial program, the Virtual Volunteer program, was implemented in Madison, Wisconsin in response to the need for COVID-19 screening protocol implementation among homeless shelter populations. Virtual screening also created the opportunity for nursing students to complete practicum hours required to graduate.
Loughlin has been in nursing for over 20 years, moving from the bedside to nurse executive for Epic. At Epic, she launched five products over eight years with a focus on nursing innovation, mobile solutions, and behavioral health.
Loughlin is a graduate of the University of Washington, where she received both her nursing and Master of Science degrees.
