Raised in an Evangelical megachurch during the 1990s, Barron initially struggled to conform to the restrictive ideologies imposed by her religious community. This period of her life was marked by significant personal conflict, as she grappled with the expectations set by her church's narrow interpretation of faith. Her life took a transformative turn when she met Sami, her now-wife. Choosing love and authenticity, Barron left behind the constrictive doctrines of her upbringing for a life rich in diversity and authenticity.

Barron's debut book, "Worth It: Overcome Your Fears and Embrace the Life You Were Made For," was launched in Summer 2020. In this work, she shares her personal journey, aiming to motivate readers to confront their own fears and embrace their true selves.
