Bruce Greenwood

Bruce Greenwood is a Canadian actor and producer who has starred in numerous films and television projects since the 1980s, including five films by Canadian filmmaker Atom Egoyan.

Greenwood trained at the University of British Columbia and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. His filmography has grown extensive over the years, with notable roles in films such as "13 Days" where he portrayed President John F. Kennedy, "Hollywood Homicide" (2003), "Being Julia" (2004), "I, Robot" (2004), and "Déjà Vu" (2006). Greenwood has received acclaim for his performances in films like "The Sweet Hereafter" (1997) and "Exotica" (1994). He even won the Satellite Award for Best Supporting Actor - Motion Picture for his role in "Thirteen Days" (2000).

His television work includes popular shows like "John From Cincinnati", "Mad Men", and "American Crime Story". He has been nominated for three Canadian Screen Awards for his work on television. Greenwood has won a Gemini award for his guest appearance on "Road to Avonlea." He has also lent his voice to several Batman films and the television series "Young Justice."

Greenwood portrayed Captain Christopher Pike in J. J. Abrams's Star Trek reboot series (2009-2013) and has appeared in other supporting roles in films such as "The Post" (2017). Most recently, he has starred in the main cast of television series "I Know This Much is True" and "The Fall of the House of Usher."

Greenwood is married to Susan Devlin and they have one daughter.
