Candice Accola

Candice Accola always had a great love of music and performing. At the age of 14 she started writing her own lyrics. After moving to Los Angeles she signed a record deal with Maverick and on December 26, 2006 released her debut album It’s Always the Innocent Ones. She started her music career under the name Candice. While her music career didn’t suceed as well as she had hoped, Candice was voted among the top ten favorite singers in Japan in a poll done by BURNN! Magazine after the album was re-released there in 2008.

She also landed a job as a back up singer for Miley Cyrus in "Hannah Montana: The Movie." Candice then toured with Miley on the concert tour for Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert, which was also made into a film.

While still persuing music, Candice started to do some acting. She landed a guest part on "How I Met Your Mother" and a small part in the hit film "Juno." Her acting career continued to succeed with parts in independent films and guest spots on television series such as "Greek," "Supernatural" and "Drop Dead Diva."

In 2008 her film "Deadgirl" was met with a lot of attention after it screened at the Toronto Film Festival.

In 2009, Candice landed the part of Caroline Forbes as a series regular for the CW’s new pilot for The Vampire Diaries. With the success of the Vampire Diaries Candice moved to Atlanta, Georgia where the show is filmed.

In 2012 Candice was cast as Chloe Cunningham in the second season of the webseries “Dating Rules From My Future Self.” This series was Candice’s first time as a producer. Candice really enjoyed being a part of this project because she felt it was a role that she and almost everyone could relate to.

In May 2013 Candice became engaged to her boyfriend Joe King while on vacation in Italy. Joe is the guitarist for the music group The Fray.
