Carlos Piera Serra decided to dedicate his life to enhancing happiness after a transformative sailing trip across the Atlantic with close friends and family. During this expedition, he engaged in introspection through reading, meaningful conversations, and observing the stars. Following this trip, he ventured to India, where he merged volunteer efforts with human resource consulting. His work in India spurred him to explore the dynamics of happiness and its impact on individuals and organizations.

Upon returning to Spain, he joined Grupo CMR, one of the country's pioneering HR consulting firms. At Grupo CMR, he excelled as a Sales Consultant Innovator, where he developed and led numerous projects in customer service, sales, and leadership. His dedication to promoting happiness and success on both personal and organizational levels led him to collaborate with Delivering Happiness. He became a key figure in the community, helping to develop the "Make Happy Work" model. In 2012, he established Delivering Happiness Spain, focusing on the Spanish market, and has been committed to spreading happiness through this outlet ever since.

Over the years, Carlos Piera Serra has worked with more than 250 companies to foster cultures of values that are scalable and sustainable, enhancing company productivity, profitability, and sustainability. He is recognized as a Global Happiness Navigator and offers keynotes such as "Happiness as a Business Model" and "The Story of CEO Tony Hsieh and Zappos," which emphasize values-based company culture and exceptional customer service. His commitment is to advance happiness as both a personal philosophy and a strategic business approach.
