Carly Pearce emerged in the country music scene in 2017 with her single "Every Little Thing" which peaked at number one on the Billboard Country Airplay chart and number five on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Her debut studio album, sharing the same name, received critical acclaim and debuted at number four on the Billboard Top Country Albums list. In the following years, Pearce toured with esteemed artists such as Luke Bryan, Thomas Rhett, and Blake Shelton. Her subsequent releases, including the extended play collection titled "29" and her third studio album "29: Written in Stone," continued to climb the country charts and were praised by publications such as American Songwriter and Rolling Stone.

In addition to her successful releases, Pearce's ability to blend traditional and contemporary country-pop elements in her music has been recognized by the industry. Notably, she became a member of the Grand Ole Opry in 2021, an invitation extended by Dolly Parton, marking a significant milestone in her career. Her single "I Hope You're Happy Now" mirrored the success of her debut, reaching number one on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. Pearce's dedication and talent were further acknowledged when she won her first Grammy Award in 2023 for her performance on "Never Wanted to Be That Girl."

Throughout her career, Pearce has accumulated several awards including three Country Music Association Awards, four Academy of Country Music Awards, and a Grammy. Notably, she won the CMA Female Vocalist of the Year in 2021 and made history for women in country music at the Grammys in 2023. Beyond her studio work, Pearce has headlined multiple tours including the "Way Back Tour" in 2019, "The 29 Tour" from 2021–2022, and the "Country Music Made Me Do It Tour" in 2023. She is scheduled to headline the "Hummingbird World Tour" from 2024–2025, named after her album "Hummingbird" set for release in 2024.
