Catherine Courage Biography
Catherine Courage joined Citrix in 2009 from Salesforce, which has offices in Santa Clara. Since then, she’s built the product design division into a team of 45, on track to grow to 100 by 2015. She launched partnerships with design consultancy IDEO and Stanford University, and played a key role in creating an annual conference for Citrix developers. She formed a partnership with Carnegie Mellon University Design School where students use emerging technology to create a better city and is now working to start similar programs with Stanford and California College of the Arts. When not focused on design, she’s focused on training. She’s an active runner and triathlete, and sits of the board of trustees of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Silicon Valley and Monterey Bay Area chapter. She also helped found the Citrix Women’s Informal Network Group to mentor women in technology, and is an active member of Watermark, an association for executive women.
Education: Master of Applied Science, mechanical and industrial engineering, University of Toronto; Bachelor of Science (Honors), psychology, Memorial University of Newfoundland.
