Cece Winans

Priscilla Marie Winans Love, known professionally as CeCe Winans, first gained recognition as a singer on the Christian telecast "The PTL Club." She rose to prominence as a member of the duo BeBe & CeCe Winans before launching a successful solo career. As part of this duo, they achieved crossover success and released nine Gold and Platinum recordings. Their album "Different Lifestyles" sold over a million units, making them the first gospel artists to achieve this feat after Aretha Franklin.

Winans began her solo career with the album "Alone in His Presence" in 1995, which earned her a Grammy Award and two Dove Awards. She started her own recording company, PureSprings Gospel, in 1999 and released the album "Alabaster Box" on the label. Her eighth album, "Purified," released in 2005, included contributions from her nephew Mario Winans and her son Alvin III. Winans has a collection of Top Ten R&B radio hits, including the duet "Count On Me" with Whitney Houston. In 2017, she released the album "Let Them Fall in Love," which won her two Grammy Awards. Her first live worship album, "Believe for It," won her three additional Grammy Awards in 2021.

Winans has authored three books: "On A Positive Note," "Throne Room: Ushered Into the Presence of God," and "Always Sisters: Becoming the Princess You Were Created to Be." She was a judge on BET's gospel singing competition, "Sunday Best," from 2012 to 2014. As of now, Winans has received 15 Grammy Awards, 28 Dove Awards, and 16 Stellar Awards, among many other accolades. She was honored with the Aretha Franklin Icon Award at the BET Stellar Awards in July 2023. Winans resides in Brentwood, Tennessee, with her husband Alvin Love II and has two children.
