Chad Hennings

Chad Hennings has achieved notable success in a career that spans both professional athletics and military service. Following a nine-year NFL tenure with the Dallas Cowboys, where he was a key reserve on an acclaimed defensive line and contributed to three Super Bowl championships, Hennings transitioned to a distinguished military career. He undertook 45 combat missions in the A-10 Warthog for the U.S. Air Force, earning the Air Force Achievement Medal and an Outstanding Unit Award.

While Hennings' athletic prowess was recognized with an induction into the College Football Hall of Fame and awards such as the Outland Trophy in 1987 and the UPI Lineman of the Year title, his academic achievements were equally notable. He was a unanimous All-American in 1987, named WAC Defensive Player of the Year, and received the NCAA Silver Anniversary Award in 2013.

Post-retirement from football, Hennings has dedicated himself to serving his community, authorship, and public speaking. He is known for his Christian writings, including his 2009 self-help book for men, "Rules of Engagement: Finding Friendship, Faith, and Strength in a Disconnected World." Hennings' speaking engagements often focus on his belief that integrity and purpose are critical to achieving excellence, a message he has shared with Fortune 500 companies, U.S. Government agencies, and non-profit organizations. Beyond his public engagements, Hennings also actively contributes to the Dallas/Ft Worth community through his philanthropic activities and a leadership role in Wingmen Ministries, an organization that encourages discipleship and mentorship of men.

Chad Hennings resides in Flower Mound, Texas, with his wife, Tammy, and their two children, Chase and Brenna.
