Chao Wang Biography
Chao Wang is a senior user experience (UX) designer at Google. Specifically, Wang has been working on Google Cloud, improving end-to-end user journeys and, in turn, driving growth and engagement with the platform.
Wang believes that the combination of design, business and technology is critical for finding the right design insights to uncover new opportunities. He also thinks that proper design planning, user research and teamwork are the necessary ingredients for successful design propositions.
From October 2010 to December 2017, Wang worked for Microsoft, first as an interaction designer for the Xbox division, then as senior user experience (UX) designer in the Outlook lab, and, lastly, as the Senior UX Design Lead for Microsoft Customer Care Intelligent (CCI), one of the first business AI products Microsoft released.
Wang holds a bachelor's degree in industrial design from Dalian University of Technology, and a master's degree in interaction design from Umeå Institute of Design.
