Charles Burbridge

Charles Burbridge is a design team member of the popular "Design on a Dime" Home and Garden Television reality show program, featuring design-conscious people who want their living space redesigned for maximum style at minimum cost. Using a $1,000 budget to remake a room, the design team completely redecorates.

On each episode Charles Burbridge appeared on for “Design on a Dime,” homeowners were consistently pleased with the changes and proposals he made to combat design dilemmas they were facing. Along with the rest of the design team, he and the crew regularly solved storage space issues, reworking existing furniture, building custom furniture pieces, adding lighting and embellishments to transform each living space to fit the resident’s tastes.

Charles Burbridge is a Los Angeles, California native and previously ran a decorative painting and interiors business before joining the “Design on a Dime” team as a design coordinator. Though the Home and Garden Television show gig was his first time to appear on broadcast television, he had a history working as a theater actor for over a decade and is a founding member of the improvisational sketch comedy troupe, Big Boned Theatre.

Charles recently assisted as a graphic artist for the Burbank Playas, for a show about a hapless troupe of actors forced to make a monster movie in order to save their beloved theatre from a hostile takeover. This handyman with a sense of humor not only knows how to paint, design, and spruce up the house, he also knows how to knit.
