Christa Harmotto Dietzen

Christa Deanne Harmotto Dietzen is an American indoor volleyball player, a former member of the United States women's national volleyball team and Turkey club Fenerbahce Grundig. Dietzen is a London 2012 Olympic Silver Medalist, 2016 Bronze Medalist, and FIVB World Champion. She retired from volleyball in 2016.

Dietzen played college volleyball at Pennsylvania State University team from 2005–2008. At Penn State, she had a .486 hitting percentage on the year, which led the nation. She was named the Big Ten Player of the Year in 2007, was nominated for the Honda Award and is a three-time AVCA All-American Award winner. Dietzen led Penn State to back-to back NCAA Championships before becoming a mainstay on the U.S. national team roster in 2009.

Dietzen was captain of the Team USA squad that won the bronze medal at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, defeating the Netherlands following a shocking semifinal loss to Serbia. Dietzen and her teammates, who came in ranked No. 1, returned to the podium four years after capturing the silver medal at the London 2012 Olympic Games. The middle blocker was also captain of the gold-medal-winning 2015 FIVB World Grand Prix team and was named second-best middle blocker of the final round. Dietzen captained the 2014 team to the FIVB world championship, helped the U.S. win the gold medal at the 2011 and 2011 FIVB Grand Prix, participated in the 2009 Women's Pan-American Volleyball Cup in July, the 2009 FIVB World Grand Prix in August and the 2009 Final Four Intercontinental Cup in Lima, Peru, in September. At the Final Four Cup, she was starter in all five matches. She averaged 0.95 blocks per set, totaled 19 blocks in five matches and was named the tournament's "Best Blocker".
