Christian Siriano

Christian Siriano attended the Baltimore School for the Arts and further studied fashion in London, where he interned with industry legends Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen. Since launching his collection in 2008, which is shown each season at New York Fashion Week and presented in New York and Paris to retailers, Siriano has continued to expand his influence and offerings in the fashion world. His designs, known for their whimsy and elegance, range from fantasy evening gowns and cocktail dresses to tailored sportswear, as well as intricate shoes and accessories. The designs can be found at department stores and specialty boutiques globally. In 2012, he opened his first flagship store on Elizabeth Street in New York City, and in 2013, he was inducted as a member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA). Siriano also launched "The Curated NYC," further solidifying his presence in the fashion industry.

Siriano's designs have been worn by a broad spectrum of public figures including Dr. Jill Biden, Michelle Obama, Angelina Jolie, and Oprah Winfrey, who has described his works as "works of art." Furthermore, his commitment to promoting body diversity on the runway and the red carpet has not only earned him a spot among TIME's "100 Most Influential People," but also continues to set trends in inclusivity in the fashion industry. Besides fashion, Siriano is a mentor on "Project Runway" and hosts the digital Bravo talk show "So Siriano," which has featured guests like Drew Barrymore and Leslie Jones.

Expanding beyond fashion, Siriano has ventured into publishing with books such as "Dresses to Dream About" and "Fierce Style: How to Be Your Most Fabulous Self." His entrepreneurial spirit is also evident in his recent endeavors, including the launch of his first-ever furniture collection and the announcement of his new interior design firm, Siriano Interiors. His dedication to social causes was notably demonstrated during the COVID-19 pandemic, wherein his atelier shifted focus from clothes to producing over one million masks for frontline workers.
