Christine Amour-Levar

Raised in the Philippines by a Filipina mother and Swiss/French father, amidst a rich heritage of cultural diversity, Christine Amour-Levar is a passionate environmentalist, social entrepreneur, and author, who has carved out a unique space where adventure and advocacy converge. She is the driving force behind Women on a Mission and HER Planet Earth, two impactful non-profit organizations that champion gender equality and environmental conservation through challenging expeditions to some of the world’s most remote locations.

Christine spent part of her early career in Japan and then moved to the United States to work for Nike, later honing her skills as a sustainability and human rights advisor. More recently she held a leadership role at Temasek Trust, the philanthropic arm of Temasek Holdings, Singapore’s Sovereign Wealth Fund, and co-founded Investors for Climate, to harness capital for climate solutions via close-door events in Singapore, London and New York City.

Christine is also an active board member and advisor to several purpose-led organizations in the social impact and sustainability spaces. In 2022, she published ‘Wild Wisdom – Life Lessons from Leading Teams to Some of the Most Inhospitable Places in the World’ with Penguin Random House, which received wide acclaim, and she has also contributed to international publications such as Forbes, the HuffPost, the Straits Times of Singapore, Thrive Global and the Manila Bulletin Newspaper of the Philippines.

Her speaking engagements on Leadership, DEI and Sustainable Development have been hosted by INSEAD, The United Nations and The Conference of Parties, as well as at well-known corporations like Credit Suisse, Lloyds, Unilever, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, White & Case… to name a few. Recognized with international accolades like the GGEF Woman Eco Gamechanger Award, she was named one of the “Women of the Future Southeast Asia Leading Lights” by the Financial Times

Christine speaks six languages, has lived on four continents and seven cities, travelled to 80 countries from the Arctic to the Antarctic, and is currently based in Singapore, where she lives with her husband and four children.
