Christopher Martin is the vice president of Data, Science and Machine Learning at Lyft. Prior to joining the popular rideshare app, Martin spent more than 12 years at Pandora. Since joining the company, he has managed the engineering function at Pandora as the director of software engineering, VP of engineering, and finally as CTO.
In these positions, Martin oversaw a team of more than 50 people tackling a range of engineering projects, from perfecting playlists to in-car development and advertising integration. Other projects under his management included software development, quality assurance, customer support, device development, device certification and production support.
