Clare Bowen

Clare Bowen has enjoyed a flourishing career in film, theatre, television, and music. A native Australian, she has appeared in several of her home country's iconic television dramas, including "Home and Away," the medical drama "All Saints," "The Cut," and the critically-acclaimed comedy "Chandon Pictures."

After graduating from the University of Wollongong in 2008, she was offered a lead role in the highly controversial 2009 feature film, "The Combination," directed by David Field. This was followed by a major role in the thriller, "The Clinic," which screened at several international film festivals, and the independent film, "Not Suitable for Children," alongside Ryan Kwanten. Bowen's notable role as Scarlett O’Connor on the ABC musical drama television series "Nashville," written by Academy Award-winner Callie Khouri, further highlighted her multifaceted talent.

In addition to her acting, Bowen is also a singer and songwriter. She is part of the musical duo BOWEN * YOUNG with her husband, Brandon Robert Young. Their debut album "Dangerous Love" has been performed in multiple countries including Germany, Australia, the US, and the UK. Their music has been featured in television shows like "Shameless," "A Million Little Things," and "Nashville." Moreover, the duo joined Sugarland on their "Still the Same Tour" and sold out London’s O2 Arena while touring with the "Nashville" cast. Bowen is not only a cancer survivor but also an advocate for cancer survival and inner beauty, often sharing her journey with end stage nephroblastoma since she was four years old.
