Clark Kellogg Biography
Clark Kellogg is a former NBA player and college basketball game and studio analyst for CBS Sports, where he has played a pivotal role in the network's coverage of the sport, including the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship.
Kellogg assumed the role of lead college basketball analyst for CBS Sports in July 2008, partnering with Jim Nantz. He became only the second lead college game analyst for CBS Sports since the legendary Billy Packer joined the network in 1982.
Previously, Kellogg had served as a game analyst for CBS Television Network's NCAA Tournament coverage in 1993 and 1994. He also took on the responsibilities of studio co-host for first- and second-round coverage from 1994 to 1997. Kellogg's journey in sports broadcasting also included a stint as an analyst for ESPN's regular-season basketball coverage from 1990 to 1997; work for the Big East Network and Prime Sports; and television analysis for the NBA's Indiana Pacers broadcasts.
Prior to broadcasting, Kellogg had an illustrious playing career at Ohio State from 1979 to 1982, earning All-Big Ten and Most Valuable Player honors in 1982. He was the No. 1 NBA draft pick of the Indiana Pacers in 1982, for whom he played five seasons before retiring with chronic knee problems.
