Colt McCoy

Colt McCoy graduated as the winningest quarterback in college history, winning 45 of his 53 starts during a storied four-year career at the University of Texas, from 2006 to 2009. He set numerous school records including the NCAA record for highest single-season completion percentage of 76.7 percent. He is the only quarterback in college football history to win at least ten games for four seasons. In his senior year, McCoy won 13 of the top 15 major college player awards, including quarterback of the year, offensive player of the year, and outstanding football player of the year. In 2008, he received the Walter Camp Award and was a Heisman Trophy finalist in 2009.

Following his illustrious college career at UT, McCoy was drafted in the third round of the 2010 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns and played in eight games during his rookie season. He subsequently played for teams including the San Francisco 49ers and is currently with the Washington Redskins, having made a notable starting debut that led the team to an overtime victory against the Dallas Cowboys. In 2019, he was named the starting quarterback of the Washington Redskins in Week 5.

In addition to his professional career, McCoy has authored a book titled "Growing Up Colt: A Father, a Son, a Life in Football." He is also known for delivering keynote speeches on themes such as faith, overcoming adversity, and teamwork, proving especially effective with faith-based organizations. McCoy has been actively involved in volunteering with both domestic and foreign ministries, sharing his experiences and the significant role of faith in his life. This aspect of his life was pivotal during his sophomore year at UT, which he often describes as a defining moment in his personal and professional development.
