Cometry

Cometry is a blend of comedy and poetry. They use entertainment to educate on the topics of diversity, leadership skills & social skills, empathy training, mental and emotional health.

G.R.A.V.: teaches four concepts (Growth, Research, Approachability, Validation), & characteristics that makes an individual become GRAV...one that others gravitate towards!

E.M.O.J.I.: teaches five concepts ( Expectations, Meaning, Observations, Join, Invest) & skills that speak to managing depression, anxiety, stress, and emotional health.

E.M.O.J.I. at W.O.R.K.: teaches leadership roles in their workplace, by accessing emotional intelligence and connecting with others through empathy, vulnerability, and compassion. We believe that true team work and heavy-influential changes can only happen when we truly understand and empathize with each other. We encourage others to share their stories, by demonstrating the courage it requires to sharing our own.

Cometry finds that through art they can release the harness or fear, of having much needed and touching conversations. They build an environment that becomes their emotional and educational safe haven. It's what they call 'edutainment' - using entertainment to educate. Their chalkboard just happens to be art, and the classroom is the stage!
