Craig Kielburger

Craig Kielburger is a social entrepreneur and the co-founder of a family of organizations dedicated to the power of WE, a movement of people coming together to change the world.

Since the age of 12, Kielburger has been inspiring people to make a difference and helping them connect with their purpose. His journey began in his parents' living room and led him to various global locales, engaging with figures such as Oprah Winfrey and Nelson Mandela, and ultimately to building a global enterprise. With over 1000 employees across five continents, Kielburger's efforts have focused on broadening educational opportunities and alleviating poverty worldwide.

Along with his brother Marc Kielburger, he co-founded WE Charity, which implements the holistic development model known as WE Villages, helping to lift more than one million people out of poverty in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. In North America and the United Kingdom, their initiatives such as WE Schools and WE Day engage over 2.4 million young change-makers in comprehensive service learning programs annually. The WE movement also includes ME to WE, a social enterprise that supports their charitable work with socially-conscious products and experiences.

Kielburger is the youngest ever graduate from the Kellogg-Schulich Executive MBA program. He has been awarded 15 honorary doctorates and degrees for his significant contributions to education and human rights. As a prolific author, Kielburger has published 12 books, including the New York Times bestseller "ME to WE: Finding Meaning in a Material World." He is also a nationally syndicated columnist whose insights reach a broad audience.

Among his accolades are The Order of Canada, the Nelson Mandela Freedom Medal, and the World Children’s Prize. Recognized as one of Canada’s top most trusted influencers according to a Readers Digest poll, he and his brother Marc were named Canada’s Most Admired CEO in the public sector in 2015.
