Cris Doloc, PhD Biography
Cris holds a PhD in Computational Physics and has worked for more than two decades at the intersection of Quantitative and Computational Finance. He is an accomplished technology leader who led the implementation of several large-scale trading, valuation, and risk systems. His expertise extends from enterprise software architecture, to High Performance Computing and Quantitative Trading.
Cris is also the founder of FintelligeX, a technology platform designed to promote d2ice (data-driven intelligence and computational engineering) education. He is very passionate about the opportunities that recent developments in Cognitive Computing and Computational Intelligence could bring to the field of education. He is also member of the Board of Directors for StockOdds, a Canadian Education and Predictive Analytics company.
Cris is a published author and he is currently teaching in the Financial Mathematics program at the University of Chicago. Wiley has recently published his book titled “Applications of Computational Intelligence in Data-Driven Trading”. Cris is a frequent speaker at professional trading and quant conferences and has published several articles in Wilmott Magazine and QuantMinds magazine.
