He has also excelled in academia, serving as a professor at the University of Houston for five years. Currently, Tueffert manages 19 top salespeople at DXP, an industrial distributor in the Houston area, where his team is responsible for meeting a significant $100 million dollar quota. He has also developed the DXP Sales University, a quarterly 2-day sales course highly regarded for its focus on presentation skills, handling objections, and sales skill development.
