Curtis Granderson, also known as Grandyman, is a former MLB outfielder who’s considered one of the most philanthropic athletes in professional sports. The three-time MLB All-Star and Roberto Clemente Award recipient is also the founder of the Curtis Granderson Foundation (est. 2007) which aids in positive youth development through education, physical fitness and nutrition initiatives. In 2020, Granderson retired after 16 years in the big leagues and currently serves as the President of The Players Alliance, a non-profit comprised of 150 Black MLB players united to create increased opportunities for the Black community in the game of professional baseball.
