DJ Jazzy Jeff is a pioneering figure in hip-hop and DJ culture. He gained worldwide fame in the late 1980s as part of the iconic duo DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince, alongside his longtime collaborator and friend Will Smith. Their blend of smooth, family-friendly rap and Jeff’s innovative turntablism set them apart in a burgeoning hip-hop scene. He has performed with Will Smith at the Live 8 concert in Philadelphia in 2005, on "The Graham Norton Show" in 2013, and at the MTV Summerblast Music Festival in Croatia and the Livewire Festival in Blackpool in 2017. In 2024, he is set to tour with New Kids on the Block and Paula Abdul on The Magic Summer Tour. He is known for his dynamic live DJ sets and for continuing to push the boundaries of his craft.
