Damon Wayans Jr.

Damon Wayans Jr. is an actor, comedian, and writer known for his standout roles in television and film. He is the eldest son of comedian Damon Wayans Sr. and a member of the Wayans family. Wayans Jr. developed a sense of humor and a talent for performance from a young age, establishing the groundwork for his career in Hollywood.

Wayans Jr.’s performance as Brad Williams on the ABC sitcom "Happy Endings" earned him widespread recognition and a nomination for the Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series in 2012. The show ran from 2011 to 2013 and gained a dedicated fan base. Wayans Jr.'s role in the Fox sitcom "New Girl" as Coach, which he first played in the show's pilot, further emphasized his position in comedy television. In spite of a temporary replacement by Lamorne Morris due to scheduling conflicts, Wayans Jr. made a return to "New Girl" for a Season 3 arc and later committed to a full season in 2014, remaining in the show for the rest of its run.

In film, Wayans Jr. has contributed to popular comedies such as "Let’s Be Cops" and "The Other Guys." He also demonstrated his voice acting skills in the animated films "Big Hero 6" as the character Wasabi and "The Land Before Time: Journey of the Brave." Wayans Jr. is also the host of "Raid the Cage" since 2023 and appeared in an episode of "Shrinking" titled "Made You Look" in 2024.
