Dan Cortese shot to stardom as creator & host of the Emmy award winning MTV Sports, as well as the historic Rock N’ Jock games where he took home two MVP’s. From there he turned his sights to acting, with iconic roles on What I Like About You, The Single Guy, Melrose Place, and of course his unforgettable role of Tony 'the Mimbo' on Seinfeld. Cortese also spent 3 seasons on NBC's Veronica’s Closet, starring opposite Kirstie Alley.
With over 350 episodes of television and numerous films under his belt, Cortese committed those experiences to paper, when he penned “Step Off! My Journey from Mimbo to Manhood!” Thanks to his hilarious, heartfelt, positive style of writing, author and speaker Jon Gordon sought Cortese out to speak at his 'Power Of Positive Summit', which has led him to want share his message with audiences of all kinds.
