Dan Goods

Dan Goods is a visual strategist at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory where he leads a dynamic team known as The Studio. This group is dedicated to transforming complex scientific concepts into meaningful, universally understandable stories. The impact of their work extends from public spaces and art museums to the expanse of outer space.

Goods graduated valedictorian from the graphic design program at Art Center College of Design in 2002. Over the course of his career, he has received numerous accolades including NASA’s Exceptional Public Service Award. He also has the distinction of being named "One of the Most Interesting People in Los Angeles" by LA Weekly. His innovative work includes the creation of the "eCLOUD" project at the San Jose International Airport, which earned him an International Design Excellence Award.

Aside from his work at NASA, Goods actively contributes to the broader community. He serves on the board of the Caltech Management Association and ITACCUS (International Astronautical Federation’s Technical Activities Committee for the Cultural Utilization of Space). He is also an advisor to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s Art and Technology program. Furthermore, Goods engages with audiences discussing topics such as innovation, future trends, and the intersection of art and science. He currently resides in Altadena, CA, with his family and enjoys personal creative projects through his own studio.
