Dan Hegstad is the author of the book, "Next Steps: Tools for Transforming from Coping to Thriving". Hegstad is a professional voice actor, and the audiobook is read by him. Hegstad offers several presentations based on his book, including, Taming the Stress Monster, Change: You CAN do this! Saying What Needs to be Said: How to Have Tough Conversations, Your Brain: The Operator’s Manual, and more.
Hegstad recently retired from a career in sales and marketing; the last 24 years in management and fundraising with Lakeland PBS. Hegstad has been a professional speaker for over 30 years.
Hegstad is a teacher of T’ai Chi through his school, Full Circle T’ai Chi, and offers Easy T’ai Chi for Health and Happiness as one of his presentations. The lessons and principles of T’ai Chi are included in all of Hegstad’s presentations.
Hegstad’s hobby of photography grew into a videography business, Easy Street Productions. He is working on the documentary Main Street of the Northwest: The Story of the Northern Pacific Railway for PBS.
Hegstad is an avid mountain biker, reminding us that it’s not a crash but an unplanned dismount. Hegstad and his wife, Marcia, enjoy road trips and plan on visiting all our National Parks.
