Dan Quinn

Dan Quinn is the defensive coordinator for the Dallas Cowboys in the National Football League (NFL).

He began his coaching career at the collegiate level, working with the defensive lines at William & Mary, VMI, and Hofstra before making his mark as the defensive coordinator of the Seattle Seahawks from 2013 to 2014. His leadership of the Legion of Boom defense helped lead the team to two consecutive Super Bowl appearances, including a victory in Super Bowl XLVIII. Quinn then served as head coach of the Atlanta Falcons, where he led the team to Super Bowl LI in 2016. Although the Falcons lost 34–28 in overtime, this marked Quinn's third Super Bowl appearance in four seasons.

After a series of ups and downs with the Falcons, including an 11-5 season in 2016 and a disappointing performance in 2018, Quinn accepted a role as the defensive coordinator with the Falcons before being hired by the Dallas Cowboys in 2021. His impact was immediate, earning him the title of assistant NFL coach of the year by The Associated Press in the same year. Quinn, a member of the Salisbury University Athletics Hall of Fame, draws on his extensive experience in both collegiate and professional football to consult with organizations on effective teamwork and leadership.
