Dana Leong

Dana Leong is a two-time Grammy award-winning musician, composer, and producer. Recognized globally for his exceptional talent on the electric cello and trombone, he has also garnered praise from members of the Balkan Beat Box as the world's top player in both instruments. Leong's music is a compelling fusion of jazz, electronic dance, hip hop, and healing sounds, illustrating his wide-ranging musical versatility. His creativity extends beyond performance to significant collaborations and compositions for major international brands like Hermès and Virgin Galactic, as well as partnerships with artists such as Kanye West, Sean P. Diddy Combs, DJ A-Trak, and DJ Qbert.

An influential educator, Leong began teaching Jazz at Stanford University at just 16 years old and has continued to integrate educational roles into his career, including completing a public policy program at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. His dedication to merging music with civic engagement is evident in his roles as a U.S. Musical Ambassador, a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, and a United Nations Sustainable Development Goals "SDG Ambassador."
