Daniel G. Loughran

Dan Loughran, a Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager of OppenheimerFunds, Inc., leads the Oppenheimer Rochester® municipal investment team. The Rochester investment team—which includes five additional portfolio managers, one research analyst and nine credit analysts—is responsible for the day-to-day management of 15 state-specific municipal bond funds and 5 national municipal bond funds. In its investment selection of bonds for the portfolios, the team employs a bottom-up, value-oriented and security-specific investment style that seeks to produce above-average yields and total returns.

Mr. Loughran, who has been with OppenheimerFunds since October 1994, has been involved in the investment business for more than 25 years. He received a M.B.A. in Finance from Pace University and has a B.S. in Management Science with a concentration in Finance from the State University of New York at Geneseo.

Before joining OppenheimerFunds, Mr. Loughran was employed in New York City at Morgan Stanley & Company, Security Pacific National Bank and Bank of America. Possessing a Chartered Financial Analyst designation since 1996, he is a member of the CFA Institute and a member of the CFA Society of Rochester.

Mr. Loughran has served as a speaker and panelist at various conferences about mutual funds and municipal bonds. Mr. Loughran is a member of the Investment Company Institute’s Municipal Securities Advisory Committee. In addition, Mr. Loughran is a board member of the Geneseo Foundation, a fund-raising organization serving the State University of New York at Geneseo and its students; the chairman of the Geneseo Roundtable Athletic Association, and a member of the advisory council for Geneseo’s business school.
