Daniel Patterson is an accomplished educator with over twenty years of experience in various roles including teacher, coach, and high school administrator. He is also the author of "The Assertive Parent" and "RECOVER[edu]," and is currently working on his third book, "Sobertunity".
Patterson serves as the director of education for two college recovery programs and is the owner of Patterson Perspective Inc., a consulting firm he launched in 2017 that specializes in developing therapeutic schools and programming. In 2022, he established his second company, SOBERTUNITY, which operates an international online support community for individuals both sober and exploring sobriety.
In addition to his professional roles, Patterson is the co-host of the podcast "Sobriety Uncensored". He regularly engages in national speaking and consulting on topics related to student and educator wellness. His insights and expertise have been featured in major news outlets including MSNBC, NBC News, ABC News, Fox News, and The LA Times. Patterson lives in Oakland, California.
