Danny McBride, a versatile American actor, comedian, screenwriter, and producer, has established a robust presence in the entertainment industry. His numerous roles span across HBO television series, including "Eastbound & Down", "Vice Principals", and "The Righteous Gemstones". He has starred in films such as The Foot Fist Way, Hot Rod, Pineapple Express, and Tropic Thunder, among others.
McBride was a second unit director for the film George Washington and served as an executive producer for the Halloween film franchise. He has also lent his voice to characters in films including Despicable Me, Kung Fu Panda 2, The Angry Birds Movie, Sausage Party, and The Mitchells vs. the Machines. Recently, he has appeared in the movies Halloween Ends and Halloween Kills.
McBride is married to art director Gia Ruiz and they have two children.
