Darryl Robinson

Darryl Robinson got his first taste of mixology tending bar at his childhood home, where his family often entertained. This was followed by the bartender of choice role for many local events and a stint at the famed Kings Arms Tavern in Williamsburg, VA, where Darryl quickly mastered the skill of high-volume bartending. This is also where Darryl became truly inspired by innovative cocktail making and recognized his natural talent for cocktail design.

After graduating college, Darryl migrated to NYC in pursuit of an acting career. But what remained constant during his pursuit was his passion for the world of gourmet cocktail-making. Darryl spent the next 10 years honing the craft of mixology.

In 2005, Darryl joined one of NYC’s nightlife hotspots, Hudson Bar (at the Hudson Hotel), and has spent the years there fine-tuning his passion, while earning recognition in the industry. His unique and flavorful combinations, coupled with the art of mixology, are evident in each and every one of his cocktail creations.

He serves as a consultant to many bar and restaurant owners looking to create an exemplary cocktail experience at their venues. He is also an active member of the US Bartender’s Guild, The International Bartenders Association and the Museum of the American Cocktail.
