Dave Dugan

Jim and Martha Dugan's son, Dave Dugan, was born with a natural inclination towards comedy. His distinctive delivery, paired with precise timing and creative approaches to humor, has propelled him to success on national television and garnered positive feedback from corporate event planners.

"Dave made me look good" is a frequent compliment from planners who have relied on Dugan to captivate their audiences—and they often note his cooperative nature. His television career extends beyond multiple appearances on Comedy Central and HBO. A youthful Dugan, originally from Indiana, moved to Los Angeles and soon after received his first significant opportunity from the respected Dick Clark. Clark featured the budding comedian on one of his ABC nighttime shows, which led to several appearances on the popular "Arsenio Hall Show." Quickly becoming a favorite at the Comedy Store in Hollywood, Dugan also became a regular writer and contributor on the widely listened to "Bob and Tom Show" and is frequently heard on Sirius Radio. Performing in theaters and clubs nationwide, Dugan has left a lasting impact with his unique, dry, everyman style.

It’s this genuine style that initially drew him to comedy. According to Dugan, entering the world of comedy seemed almost inevitable. "Born into a family of home builders, I quickly realized that being handy is not necessarily hereditary,” he jokes. After a summer of construction work with his father, where he found himself allergic to hard labor, comedy became his path of choice.

In May, Dugan set a new world record by driving 717 laps around a roundabout, which took place on Groundhog's Day, to raise funds for cancer programs and services. The event raised thousands of dollars and he was honored by a charitable organization with an award for his contribution. Beyond his record-setting antics and national TV appearances, Dugan has written the book "Laughing Your Way Through Life," offering a humorous take on everyday challenges. He has also starred in his comedy special "Human Cannonball" on Dry Bar Comedy and continues to be a regular feature on the "Bob and Tom Show," with over 250 appearances. Known for his engaging and tailored comedy performances, Dugan excels in incorporating industry-specific knowledge into his humor, enhancing the relevance and impact of his presentations.
