Dave Shore Biography
Dave Shore is a former sports personality, veteran journalist, and programming executive now serving as Chief Operating Officer for a mission first organization.
In over 30 years in the media industry, Shore played a pivotal on air and in senior management roles with brands such as ESPN/Disney, and direct partnerships with the LA Lakers, Dallas Mavericks, Dallas Cowboys, University of Southern Cal, Detroit Pistons, Carolina Hurricanes, as well as the ALS Foundation and Make-A-Wish.
At The ALS Association North Carolina Chapter, Shore oversees internal operations while also building partnerships and contributing to the Association’s mission to discover treatments and a cure for ALS, and to serve, advocate for, and empower people affected by ALS to live their lives to the fullest. The mission is a personal one for Shore, who lost his mother to ALS in 1992.
