David Baddiel

David Baddiel, an accomplished comedian, author, screenwriter, and television presenter, has made a significant mark in various facets of entertainment. He returned to stand-up comedy in 2013 with his critically acclaimed show "Fame: Not The Musical," which followed a successful run at the Edinburgh Festival. Continuing his success in live performance, Baddiel premiered "My Family: Not the Sitcom" in 2016 at London’s Menier Chocolate Factory. The show received glowing reviews, was described as “a rare production that boasts side-splitting laughs and also moves people to tears” by the Evening Standard, and enjoyed successful runs in London's West End. Additionally, it was nominated for an Olivier Award and toured nationally through 2018.

Baddiel’s literary career is also notable with his first children’s novel, "The Parent Agency," winning the LOLLIE award for ‘best laugh out loud book for 9-13 year olds’ and is being developed into a feature film. Alongside his children's literature, Baddiel has authored four critically-acclaimed adult novels including "The Death of Eli Gold," "Time For Bed," "Whatever Love Means," and "The Secret Purposes." His foray into film includes writing the successful comedy "The Infidel," which garnered four-star reviews and was later adapted into a musical.

Adding to his diverse career, Baddiel created and hosted several television programs with Frank Skinner, such as "Fantasy Football" and "Baddiel & Skinner Unplanned." He reunified with Skinner in 2010 for a series of podcasts throughout the FIFA World Cup for Absolute Radio. His documentary work includes "Baddiel and the Missing Millions" which aired on BBC One in 2007. He has also ventured into radio with shows like "Heresy" and "Don’t Make Me Laugh" on BBC Radio 4. Recently, Baddiel launched his new TV series "sit.com," which brings a fresh twist to the traditional family sitcom by integrating modern technology.
