David Dastmalchian

David Dastmalchian is an actor, writer, and producer known for his diverse portfolio in the entertainment industry.

His acting career includes roles in superhero franchises such as "The Dark Knight," where he portrayed Thomas Schiff, and the "Ant-Man" franchise, where he played Kurt and Veb. He also appeared in "The Flash" as Abra Kadabra and "The Suicide Squad" as Polka-Dot Man. Dastmalchian's collaboration with director Denis Villeneuve resulted in roles in films such as "Prisoners," "Blade Runner 2049," and "Dune." He wrote the script for the semi-autobiographical film "Animals," in which he also took a leading role.

Dastmalchian was awarded the Special Jury Prize for Courage in Storytelling at the South by Southwest Film Festival for his work on "Animals." He has appeared in a wide range of television series, including "MacGyver," "Almost Human," "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," "The League," "Ray Donovan," and "ER." He can also be seen as Mr. 3 in the Netflix series "One Piece" and as Jack Delroy in the horror film "Late Night with the Devil," which he produced.

On top of his acting and writing career, Dastmalchian has also ventured into comic book writing, debuting his Dark Horse Comics series "Count Crowley" in 2019. He continues to expand his range with voice roles for animated features, including "Batman: The Long Halloween, Part One" and "Part Two" as Julian Day / Calendar Man.
