David Lewis

David Lewis is the Chief Growth Officer of Wed Society, architecting the national expansion of the franchised wedding media brand as it connects engaged couples with wedding vendors through curated and localized digital, social, and print media as well as in person events.

Prior to his work with Wed Society, Lewis served as Chief Operating Officer for Stability Cannibis, a startup which was built into one of the largest vertically integrated consumer health product manufacturers and distributors in the Midwest. Previously, he rose to senior leadership roles with Express Employment Professionals, the largest privately held staffing firm in North America over a 17-year career. As Vice President of Franchising, he architected a growth strategy which helped the firm reach $3.5 billion in annual revenue and more than 800 global locations.

Beyond building businesses, Lewis has a talent for influencing broader narratives. He is a three-time public sector appointee advising policy makers on workforce and economic development as well as a compelling public speaker and a bestselling author on leadership. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Southern Nazarene University, an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York City and an MBA from London Business School in the United Kingdom.

Lewis is a skilled communicator with media appearances including NBC Nightly News, Fox News, The Wall Street Journal, Entrepreneur, and USA Today. Past accolades have included being named one of Oklahoma's "Achievers Under 40"; being selected as one of the "100 Most Influential People" in the North American staffing industry; and being called a "high achiever" by Money magazine. He has also been featured in two documentary films, is a lifetime member of MENSA (the international high I.Q. society), and is a skilled free diver.
