David Robinson

David Robinson is a coffee farmer and exporter based in Tanzania, East Africa. He is the founder of the Mshikamano Farmers Group, a cooperative of family-owned farms that highlights the spirit of collaboration and unity, which the name "Mshikamano" represents in Kiswahili. Additionally, he developed the retail coffee brand "Sweet Unity Farms" to market coffee directly in the U.S.A. and enhance the inclusion of marginalized farmers into a more equitable global economy.

Robinson has been living in Tanzania for over thirty-five years, where he is deeply involved in agricultural and community development. His efforts aim to boost the economic standing of local farmers and promote global equity and human development. He is also a Board Director of the Jackie Robinson Foundation, through which he regularly collaborates on initiatives focused on equal opportunity and community unity. These commitments often bring him to the USA to work with the Foundation and advocate on behalf of East African coffee cooperatives.
