David Sandalow Biography
avid Sandalow is an energy and environment scholar and senior fellow at the Brookings Institution. He also chairs the energy and climate working group of the Clinton Global Initiative, and he is a senior advisor to Good Energies, Inc. He is a director of First Voice International and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations climate change task force. He served as assistant secretary of state for oceans, environment, and science; senior director for environmental affairs for the National Security Council; associate director for the global environment for the White House Council on Environmental Quality; and executive vice president of the World Wildlife Fund-U.S. He is the author of Freedom From Oil: How the Next President Can End the United States' Oil Addiction.
