Dawn Laguens

Dawn Laguens is the Chief of Global Strategy and Innovation at Planned Parenthood Federation of America where she oversees strategy, innovation, insights, digital products and Planned Parenthood Global. She previously served as Planned Parenthood's Executive Vice President and Chief Brand Officer. For more than a decade, Laguens has been dedicated to strengthening the connections between the domestic and global reproductive rights movements.

Laguens is a frequent media spokesperson, presenter at top global conferences and sought after event speaker —including Ad Week, Aspen Spotlight Health, the Fortune Tech Summit, Rock Health, Girlboss and TEDx. She is a champion of emerging technology, and personally led the production of Across the Line, an award-winning virtual reality experience that debuted at the SundanceFilm Festival and was among the first VR films used in the social impact and education space.

Laguens is also an Expert In Residence at IDEO, the world leading human centered design firm, where she works alongside global designers, creators and problem solvers to imagine and prototype the socially responsible and responsive organizations, corporations and technology needed for a healthier and happier future for both people and the planet. She is a co-founder of the Billion Girls CoLab in Nairobi, Kenya, a girl-led sexual health and rights research and development lab in partnership with IDEO.
