De Liu Biography
De Liu is an Associate Professor and PhD Coordinator in the Department of Information and Decision Sciences, the Academic Director of MS-Business Analytics, and 3M Fellow in Business Analytics. He is a two-time winner of the MSBA teacher of the year award. His specialty is big data analytics and scalable machine learning and his research focuses on the design of online social platforms, gamification, and Internet auctions. He holds BE and MS degrees from Tsinghua University and a PhD from the University of Texas.
