Karrel, who is based in the Greater New York area and works for The Skyridge Group, previously worked as the Senior VP of Sales at John Wiley and Sons. He was also the VP of Special Markets for Simon & Schuster from 1986 to 1992.
Karrel has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications from Ohio Wesleyan University.
