For more than 35 years, Debbie Gibson has maintained a diverse and successful career as a singer, songwriter, producer, musician, actor, and entrepreneur. At the age of 16, she made an indelible mark on the music industry with her self-penned hit "Only In My Dreams." Gibson set a precedent as the youngest artist to write, produce, and perform a No. 1 hit, "Foolish Beat," on the Billboard Hot 100—a record she continues to hold. She further established herself by becoming the youngest female artist to write, produce, and perform two No. 1 songs. Her achievements in songwriting were recognized early when she was named ASCAP Songwriter of the Year. To date, her music career includes more than 16 million albums sold worldwide, 10 studio albums, and five compilations.

Gibson's talents extend beyond the music studio to the stage, where she has starred in 17 musicals including notable roles in Broadway and U.S. national tours, such as Eponine in "Les Miserables," Sandy in "Grease," and Sally Bowles in "Cabaret."
