Dino Babers Biography
After stints as the Head Coach at Eastern Illinois and Bowling Green, Dino Babers was named the Head Football Coach at Syracuse University in 2016. At Eastern Illinois, he won consecutive Ohio Valley Championships in 2012 and 2013. He was also named the OVC Coach of the Year in both of those seasons. In 2014 and 2015, his Bowling Green teams captured the MAC East Division Championships. The 2015 team was also the overall MAC Champions. Coach Babers resume also includes coaching stints at Hawaii, Arizona State, UNLV, Northern Arizona, Purdue, San Diego State, Arizona, Texas A&M, Pittsburg, UCLA, and Baylor. His overall coaching record is 40-20.
A proven winner and respected mentor, Dino Babers was named the 30th head football coach at Syracuse University on Dec. 5, 2015. He boasts more than 30 years of experience in the profession.
Known for his innovative, ultra-fast offense, Babers is in his third season on the Syracuse sideline.
