Disciple Biography
Disciple is a Christian metal and rock band that formed in Knoxville, Tennessee, in 1992 by a group of friends who wanted to spread the gospel while playing the loud, metallic music they loved. Some of their best-known songs are "Dear X, You Don't Own Me," "Erase," "Game On," and "Invisible."
After several changes to their lineup, Disciple's current members are Kevin Young (lead vocals, acoustic guitar, bass guitar), Josiah Prince (rhythm guitar, piano, backing vocals), and Joey West (drums). Young is the only remaining founding member still in the group.
Disciple has been nominated for many Dove Awards and has won twice in the Rock Album of the Year category.
Disciple released their twelfth studio album, Love Letter Kill Shot, on September 13, 2019.
