Don Piper

Don Piper is a best-selling Christian author and speaker. He has also been an actor, syndicated columnist, former CBS & CBN Television network executive, former youth minister, education minister, senior adult minister, Baptist Student Ministry director, long-time single adult pastor, and senior pastor.

Having been in full-time Christian ministry since 1984, he most recently served as Minister of Education and Single Adults at First Baptist Church, Pasadena, Texas. Piper is in great demand in pulpits across the United States and around the world as a conference leader on effective prayer ministry, the reality of Heaven, single adult issues, and as an evangelist. He has led revival meetings and seminars all over North America and Europe.

Piper is a dynamic speaker and the author of the New York Times bestseller "90 Minutes in Heaven," which details his near-death experience and miraculous return to life after being pronounced dead at the scene of a car accident in 1989. Since its release, the book has sold over 5 million copies in 40 languages worldwide. Piper founded Don Piper Ministries in 2007 to support over 40 ministries through revenues from book sales.

His dramatic story has been featured on major television programs such as NBC's "Today Show," "Dateline NBC," ABC's "Nightline," FOX Network's "Sean Hannity's America," and Christian broadcasts like Trinity Broadcasting's "Praise the Lord" and Christian Broadcasting Network's "700 Club."
