Donna Hartley

An international inspirational speaker and trainer for over three decades, Donna Hartley has faced insurmountable odds, learning to be persistent during life-threatening times. Previously an aspiring Olympic ski racer, Hartley pivoted to surfing when her initial career goal was cut short. She is a former Miss Hawaii and television actress, having worked alongside industry names such as Robin Williams and Dick Van Dyke.

Overcoming various personal challenges, including periods of financial instability, being a single mother, suicidal thoughts, surviving cancer, a plane crash, and heart disease, Hartley has shared her compelling story of triumph over adversity on NBC, ABC, PBS, and The New York Times. She is a highly regarded speaker and mentor, recognized for her expertise in surviving challenges and developing heart-centered leadership. Through her life experiences, she has harnessed relentless energy and an unbreakable spirit, with her story serving as both an educational and emotional journey for audiences.

Beyond her speaking career, Hartley has been an active participant in various charitable initiatives. She has organized the Special Olympics Winter Games in Northern California and fundraised for Arts for the Schools, a program aimed at empowering youth. Additionally, she partakes in the Relay for Life Cancer Charity Walk Events and advocates for the American Heart Association's Go Red For Women Campaign.

Hartley is a member of the National Speakers Association and Screen Actors Guild and the owner of Hartley International. As an author, she has contributed six stories to the "Chocolate for a Women's Soul" series and two to the "Chicken Soup" series.
