Dorothy Wang

Dorothy Wang is a designer, entrepreneur and currently the breakout star on the hit E! show “#RichKids of Beverly Hills.” The docuseries, which kicks off its fourth season on April 17, chronicles the lives of an elite group of twenty-somethings as they navigate the highs and lows of coming of age in America’s most famous zip code. Not content to sit idly in her family’s success, Dorothy uses her eclectic eye for fashion and her taste for the finest things to continually build her own empire of “affordable luxury” brands. A regular fashion correspondent for “The Steve Harvey Show,” Dorothy is currently plotting the launch of her new jewelry line to add to her existing necklace line, Fabuluxe, and her own champagne, Rich and Bubbly.

Born and raised in Beverly Hills, California, Dorothy Wang’s passion, hard work and drive was evident from an early age. The youngest daughter of self-made real estate billionaire Roger Wang, persistence, philanthropy and family were key components of Dorothy’s childhood. She attended the prestigious Harvard-Westlake preparatory school where she excelled in teen sports and multiple community leadership opportunities. When not in school, Dorothy spent much of her free time traveling the globe with her family, which allowed her to develop a deep love and appreciation for different cultures and cuisines.

Having seen the value of education in her father’s success, Dorothy went on to obtain a communication degree from the University of California Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism with a minor from the Marshall School of Business. The experience solidified her desire to make a name for herself beyond her family’s wealth and stature. Growing up in extreme luxury, Dorothy has made it her mission to create a myriad of affordable luxury items and brands that are accessible for everyone. This passion also extends to her philanthropy work, including extensive involvement with UNICEF and Children’s Hospital.
